The Oculus Rift will be the first Virtual Reality headset to get the first CCG (Collectible Card Game) title in the near future. The game is called Dragon Front and is being developed by High Voltage and produced by Oculus Studios. Overall, Dragon Front meshes a fantasy theme with a more modern theme regarding the technology in it, for a more advanced Steampunk/Dieselpunk look to it.

Mad Catz reveals a refreshed model of their S.U.R.F.r game controller for Samsung’s flagship phones
Back in January Mad Catz announced that they had become part of the Designed for Samsung program. As you are probably guessing, this program is all about designing peripherals and other devices for use with Samsung products, and in the case of Mad Catz, this is mainly game controllers. While at MWC 2016, Mad Catz unveiled a refreshed version of their S.U.R.F.r game controller and mobile keypad designed specifically for Samsung’s new flagship phones, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.

Plenty of Virtual Reality news today as Samsung has made it an official ‘thing’ that if you are planning to pre-order one of the newly announced Galaxy S7 devices, you’ll also receive a Gear VR bundle with it for free. We just touched on this subject in our earlier article today about Nvidia’s Shield Android TV having its Marshmallow update starting to roll out as of this morning. Mobile gaming is by its very definition playing games while on the go. However, the entire platform has progressed to the point where you can sit at home playng your favorite mobile games for hours, playing them on your Android TV set-top box/console of choice, streaming on Twitch, and even eSports competitions. So with that evolution it should be no surprise that other aspects of the traditional gaming platforms are also making their way into the world of mobile gaming.
Nvidia, maker of a the Shield Android TV unit, Shield tablet, and the Shield Portable, also offer games that take direct advantage of their hardware, either linking to Google Play, or offering them through their own through streaming service called GeForce Now. With the latter, any purchase of premium priced games from there is also accompanied by a Steam code, for offline play. Through the end of this month, there’s a small group of games that NVidia has placed on sale.
Nintendo this year is planning to finally start revealing details about their next system called the NX. Recently this system was in the news the other day because of the apparent rumor that it will come with the ability to work with mobile devices, PCs, and possibly other consoles. Today news is coming out that takes things a step further, making it all the more interesting, with the fact that the NX may actually be two devices.
Interesting news coming out today about Nintendo’s upcoming console, and that is the rumor that the Nintendo NX will have support, or work with, smartphone, PC, and even other consoles such as the Playstation 4.
