There a games with puzzles, and then there are puzzling games. Kevin Bradford and Luke Lisi have created the latter, in a popular new game called The Guides, that is now available on Google Play. Awhile ago we reported on a mobile version of the rather challenging platformer Super Meat Boy was in the works. However, shortly after that news came out, things ended up going silent on that front. As it turns out, indie dev Edmund McMillen took a break from development after working on his PC game Fingered. Now he’s back in action and focused on finishing Super Meat Boy Forever, the mobile spin-off of Super Meat Boy.
Laser Dog, known for previous games Puk and Alone, have been working on a great retro-style platformer called Hopiko for awhile now. In fact we reported on this game coming to Android back in April of this year. So it has been a few months since we’ve heard anything about when this game will be released. Now we have a release date finally thanks to a post on Vine from the developers.
Released by CraigEatsCrayons, Dinofour is a platform adventure game that has just been released onto Google Play. Within Dinofour, players will seek to reclaim the dinosaur eggs that have been lost, and can be found at the end the levels, of which there are more than seventy, spread out over three different worlds.
Epic Shrimp have announces today that the sequel for their 2011 Mr. Nibbles game will be heading to Android later this month. This new game, called Mr. Nibbles Forever, will take the original game, which was a puzzle platformer, and completely change the core gameplay in a few specifics ways.
Philipp Stollenmayer has created a wonderful and brilliant platforming game called Sometimes You Die. The main protagonist in the game is a square, that navigates its way through varying puzzles and sparsely colored environments. It is not a long game, but the fun you have in the game makes it well-worth downloading. Here’s the kicker, sometimes you will have to die to get to the next level.
Game publishers Mudloop and game creators Umbrella Games, have recently released Down the Mountain in the Google Play Store. It is full of character, fun and lots of hopping. If you enjoyed playing Q-Bert, or Mountain Goat Mountain, you will love Down the Mountain.
Protostar Games, the creators of the enjoyable driving game Checkpoint Champion, will release their new game tomorrow. Checkpoint Champion was definitely a fun game, and it looks like Sling Kong will be too.

In short, its adorable main character, simple game play and varying environments, make this game a great one to play for you, and the young ones in your family.
