A couple of weeks ago Square Enix announced an entirely new mobile Final Fantasy game that will be heading our way soon called Final Fantasy: Record Keeper. Since that announcement pre-registration has been available for those of you who know you are going to be getting this game when it launches. As per usual, when you pre-register for a game, you end up getting an in-game bonus/reward or two when the game actually launches.

[UPDATE: Game Released] Gameloft announces Dungeon Hunter 5 release date, it will be coming in two weeks
The next installment into the Dungeon Hunter franchise by Gameloft finally has a release date and it is a lot closer than you may be thinking. Dungeon Hunter 5 will be arriving onto Android this month and, in fact, it will be arriving in less then two weeks.
Thursday are pretty much the official Android mobile game release day. Actually it is like that for all mobile gaming but then again we only care about Android. We don’t usually do a post a day ahead of what’s being released tomorrow but considering how big tomorrow is shaping up to be, it actually warrants a post like this. There is a lot to be looking forward to this Thursday.
Game development studio Inkle has been put in charge of Steve Jackson’s gamebook series Sorcery!, having already published two of them onto Google Play. We had a chance to meet up with Inkle to talk about the Sorcery! franchise and, more importantly, get some hands-on time with the next installment heading our way very soon, Sorcery! 3.
GDc is a great event to sit down with developers of all sizes to talk about current and future titles heading to our world of mobile gaming on Android. The upcoming MMORPG we reported on back in the beginning of February 2015 now has a new video that is essentially a bit of an interview/introduction to the developers behind the game. Also happening right now is a location-specific open beta testing phase. This means that even though it is an open beta, you do have to live in the regions that are specified in order to participate in it.

One game that has a lot of people’s interest and that we’ve been following its journey to Android is Snail Games’ upcoming Acton-RPG title called Taichi Panda. Originally announced before CES 2015, we ended up playing around with an early version of the game for a few minutes during CES 2015. Since then the game has been under development, getting everything polished and, eventually, having been released onto iOS now. So where is the Android version?
Announced a couple of days before the start of GDC 2015, Paradox Interactive had a copy of their new sequel to Knights of Pen and Paper on hands during GDC 2015 to go hands-on with. The firs game was a lot of fun so fondling the sequel ahead of time was high on our priority list of things to do after walking up a massive hill to get to our meeting with Paradox Interactive.
Back in the Summer of last year a rather neat RPG landed onto Android called Widget RPG. The concept of this game was to make playing an RPG relatively painless during every day life by having the entire thing be playable via a widget on your Android phone or tablet. That way progressing through the game can be done by simply tapping on the widget.
Headup Games has a pretty good track record for releasing games that are fun to play The latest game to arrive in the Play Store, is Pixel Heroes: Byte & Magic. In what has to be one of the most strangely captivating three minute trailers that I have seen in a while, the creators of the game (Bitfather) describe the process for their new radical retro RPG.
