Windows users already have a few options available to them when it comes to running Android on your PC, and today a new one has officially launched called Koplayer. This application allows you to run one or more instances of Android on your Windows machine.

Electronics giant Sony has just announced that they will again take a run at releasing mobile games, specifically for Android and iOS. This is their latest attempt, after several previous debacles. Sony’s newest plan is to create a new unit called ForwardWorks, and launch it on April 1st (ironically on April Fool’s Day?).

Samsung has announced some new, gaming specific features for their upcoming flagship devices. They’ve added or tweaked a handful of things, compared to previous releases. You may or may not remember back in August of last year when we reported on Google making the official announcement that they would be using Khronos’ Vulkan platform for Android developers to use its low-overhead graphical APIs. In a nutshell this is supposed to improve performance by providing developers more direct access to the GPU itself. Developers can manage memory and multiple threads on their own instead of leaving it up to the driver.
