If you follow the news about upcoming or rumored Android devices then you are probably already aware that Nvidia is rumored to be making their own Android tablets. The tablets, which are apparently named Tegra Tab, are also rumored to have both a 7″ version as well as a 10″ size. Well it seems as though one of the rumored tablets isn’t that much of a rumor anymore as it appears to have been benchmarked.

The Archos GamePad has only been available in the US for a few months now, having hit store shelves back in March, but apparently the company is already working on a follow-up to their gaming themed Android tablet. At least that is what it looks like according to a new filing at the FCC.

While we all knew that Tegra 4 devices were on the horizon, it seems as though Toshiba wanted to get their Tegra 4 tablets out before anyone else and have quietly had their new line-up of Android tablets make an appearance on both Amazon and Best Buy. Back in June the company did say that they would be releasing their new line-up, strange to see them actually hitting retail outlets on time.
Computex 2013 is well under way now and Toshiba has come out to announce that they will have two Tegra 4 powered Android tablets hitting the market next month called the Toshiba eXcite Pro and the Toshiba eXcite Write. When it comes to hardware, both tablets are pretty much identical to each other.
Last week the Android gaming-centric tablet Wikipad made its way through the FCC making the tablet’s release quite possibly happening soon. Well apparently that ‘soon’ now has an official date for the tablet’s US launch while a worldwide launch will follow shortly afterwards.

ASUS has announced their next tablet that will be heading our way soon over at the Computex 2013 show which is technically beginning tomorrow but ASUS has decided to make their announcement today. This new tablet is actually quite a beast in terms of specs, not only because it comes with a Tegra-4 quadcore chipset and its partnering 72-core GPU but also because the tablet will be able to stream 4K content to your TV through HDMI.
