While this isn’t a movie spin-off game like two of the titles already out today, this is still a spin-off game but themed after the Ninja Warrior game that has been quite popular these days and is based off of the long running show called Sasuke in Japan. This game is pretty much like the TV show and you can even win prizes in the competitions that will be held on an on-going basis.

It’s Thursday and like we mentioned yesterday it seems that this has become the designated day each week for a lot of game releases to happen. We talked about another movie spin-off game a couple of weeks ago called After Earth and now that game is available on Google Play as well,
Heavy Sword is a new retro-inspired platformer from Monster Robot Studios. The game combines great modernized SNES-era graphics with traditional platforming elements to create a solid game that is worth playing. The game borrows heavily from the classics in the genre, but does this end up helping or hindering it from being a must play experience?
A new development studio has debuted on Android today and has come out rather strong with their first game release Heavy Sword. This particular game is a retro style Action-Platformer that borrows some cues from games we used to play on consoles and PC.
Sega has released, as a bit of a surprise, the original Sonic The Hedgehog game onto Google Play this morning. While this is the original game, the visuals have been remastered as well as support for widescreen resolution, sporting a smooth 60 frames-per-second or at least that is what Sega is claiming.
One game we have been waiting for since almost a year ago is an action platformer called Bounty Arms THD. This particular game is one we’ve had some hands-on time with already with an early build and it was pretty fun to play back then. Bounty Arms THD has a unique cast of creatures that you end up killing in some rather unique ways.
There is an upcoming platformer under development right now called Glob The Game by an indie developer that looks rather promising. While there isn’t a whole lot of details right now about this game, what we do have is a look at the gameplay itself thanks to a video from the developer.
If you’re a fan of comic books then you are probably familiar with Valiant’s rather cool crossover event called Harbinger Wars. Well the comic is now available as a retro style platformer called Harbinger Wars: Battle Vegas which follows the events that actually happen in the crossover series.
Earlier this week we talked about the sequel to They Need To Be Fed and the fact it was heading our way in a few days. Well that time has arrived and sure enough They Need To Be Fed 2 is now available on Google Play for all of you fans of the original game to go download and start soaking up all your free time with.
There are so many games coming out these days that it is almost impossible to post about them each and every day here at DroidGamers. It is unfortunate that a lot of great indie games may go unnoticed.
