Nvidia today finally unveiled their Tegra Note which is a reference device that shows off their Tegra 4 platform. What this does is allow manufacturers to offer the Tegra 4 platform to create 7″ tablets for as little as $200. Basically this means manufacturers can use this tablet as a starting point, enabling them to quickly bring their own branded 7″ tablet to market much more quickly by using this one as the base model.

Gameloft has released an announcement but this is one of those rare ones where it doesn’t pertain to a specific game getting released or one of their titles getting a big content update. There is always one thing we can never have enough of when it comes to our mobile devices and that is storage space. Even with 64GB or storage in your tablet it generally doesn’t take long to fill that sucker up full with music, games, movies and whatever else you enjoy stuff inside your tablet.

The Archos GamePad has only been available in the US for a few months now, having hit store shelves back in March, but apparently the company is already working on a follow-up to their gaming themed Android tablet. At least that is what it looks like according to a new filing at the FCC.
A couple of days ago news broke that Amazon was possibly getting into the Android-powered console with a unit of their own that is apparently in development right now and could see its release by the end of this year. While this news is filed under the ‘Rumors’ category of news, it does make sense that Amazon would do this considering they tend to mimic whatever the current hot trend is with Android.
LG just held their press event moments ago where the much leaked LG G2 was officially announced. This is quite the beastly Android phone where LG has gone and switched out from using a Tegra chipset, which they used in their LG G2X, and have gone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset which makes this a quad-core phone running at 2.26GHz.
