Back in mid-January of this year we mentioned a few games had landed on the Japanese Google Play store from Kairosoft. One of those games was called Stakes Ranch G1 which was the actual translation of the title. Well it might have taken a bit longer than we had originally though but that game is now available on Google Play for everyone under it’s official English name called Pocket Stables.

Some of you may remember a rather popular 4-player arcade game called Gauntlet which eventually made it to a few consoles as well. OrangePixel has been showing off some footage of a prototype game they are working on that is in the style of Gauntlet but with their own added flare to it. Currently the game is unnamed and is simply being called Untitled Dungeon Crawler.
A few days ago we talked about a top-down shooter that was once really popular for the Amiga back in the day. The year 1997 has come back to like in the form of those digital pets from Japan called Tamagotchi that a lot of kids lost their minds over when they first came out. So all of those children who loved these digital pets back then, who happen to be adults now, can lose their minds all over again.
Final Fantasy has long been a definitive name in the world of RPG’s, ever since the original on the NES. Since, there have been thirteen numbered games, countless spin-offs and sequels, a couple of movies, plenty of remakes, and a legacy that has made the name Final Fantasy a familiar one no matter who you’re talking to.
If you happen to own a device that is Playstation Certified then you’ve probably already have been enjoying the Amiga classic game Alien Breed since mid-November of last year. The rest of the Android world who doesn’t have access to Playstation Mobile have been left out in the cold, being unable to play this classic top-down shooter game. That is until now.
Well folks, it’s now officially in the Play Store. With the upcoming (eventual) release of Final Fantasy IV for Android, I decided it’d be a good time to write up a review for Final Fantasy III. Final Fantasy III has been one of my all-time favorites in the series since the original NES release was translated in the emulation community. It set the ground for the class change system from Final Fantasy V, Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, and every other game in the series since that gave you the ability to change your character’s class.
