The much anticipated re-branded and expanded Playstation Suite, now known as Playstation Mobile, will be going live today for those of you in the Eastern time zone as of the time of writing this. The rest of us on the west will be waiting a few hours but regardless, Playstation Mobile will be going live along with all of its features.
Good news for all our European readers out there today who, until now, have not had access to the Amazon AppStore. This means you’ve been missing out on the free games/apps of the day, the promotional deals and so on. However, that changes beginning today as the Amazon AppStore rolls out access to Europe.

Another practice that is starting to become common place is the development of companion apps for games. There are already plenty of them available for a variety of games from World of Warcraft to the Ghost Recon Network app. Now the Playstation 3 game Starhawk has its own companion application called Starhawk Uplink.
