One of the upcoming VR headsets that has a lot of attention on it right now is the HTC Vive, a team effort between Valve and HTC. Well HTC is hoping to have developers signing up for a free HTC Vive headset ‘soon’, and by ‘soon’ the company is hoping to have things going by next week.

Esper is an upcoming game for the Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear VR which takes place in 1975. Since this is a Virtual Reality title, the entire perspective of this game is in first-person which is interesting because Esper is actually a puzzle game dealing with extra-sensory abilities.
Virtual Reality is a pretty big thing right now and companies are trying to figure out ways to jump on the VR train. One way is to just give away free VR headsets and that is exactly what LG is doing in a new promotion.

Archos is planning on getting into the Virtual Reality scene with a headset as well which will be available this November.
Virtual Reality with the Oculus Rift is Still Coming to Mobile Devices, But it is Being “Held Back” With a Focus on “Polishing It”
The Oculus Rift was at one point solely focused on gaming. Since the company behind it, Oculus VR, was purchased by Facebook things have changed with social media playing a role in its future along with games. There are still plans to bring the Oculus Rift to mobile devices, as in Android devices. When questioning Oculus VP of Product Nate Mitchel on their concern that mobile devices would not provide the power the Rift needs, and would provide a sub-par experience he had some positive statements to give on its future with Android products.
Remember the Samsung VR headset that we wrote about a week ago? Gizmodo is now reporting that the Korean tech giant has teamed up with Oculus VR in the production of their virtual reality, android powered headset.
