Square Enix releases their 3D puzzle game Motley Blocks… onto Amazon?

Well Square Enix has released a new game for Android gamers who enjoy puzzle games. This particular title, called Motley Blocks, is pretty similar in style to another game we released talked about called Pixel Twist. Basically in this game, your job is to connect matching colored blocks, while they twirl around in a sort of cyclone pattern, in order to clear them and eventually make the image that you need to make, using the removed blocks, in order to move onto the next stage.

Square Enix may be considering dropping their mobile game prices

Square Enix has been doing a decent job with bringing games to Android and even though iOS has more titles from the company, Android is slowly catching up. However, it is no secret that the prices Square Enix happens to be charging for their titles are more on the higher end of the scale. For instance, Chaos Rings rolls in at $12.99 while Final Fantasy III is sitting at $15.99. Recently Square Enix talked about their pricing and defending the price tags that come with some of their games. However, that may be heading for a change soon.

Chaos Rings soon to be available for rooted Android users to play

It appears, as what usually happens in this instance, that Square Enix has seen the error of their ways when they decided to restrict rooted Android users from being able to download and play Chaos Rings. The tidbit of information came after the release of the game so rooted users were left wondering what was going on. Square Enix eventually added the ‘will not work on rooted devices’ line to their market listing on Google Play.

Square Enix won’t allow you to play Chaos Rings on your rooted device

Perhaps it is the belief that some developed have that rooted users are the cause of piracy one Android or maybe it is something else, but when you segregate a rather large demographic of the Android population, you’re going to get lash back. It’s happened in the past and now it is Square Enix’s turn as they recently changed their market description to include one new tiny sentence. That sentence informs everyone that rooted users will be unable to play Chaos Rings, their newest game released yesterday.

Monday Lunchtime Humor: Final Fantasy Dimensions keeps the Final Fantasy tradition of dirty magazines alive

While we all wait for Square Enix to slowly, ever so slowly, bring Final Fantasy Dimensions to Android, since it’s already out on iOS, there is  tradition that most Final Fantasy fans have long held close to their hearts. That is the tradition of finding porn magazines in-game as hidden Easter Eggs. It looks as though Final Fantasy Dimensions keeps this tradition live as well.
