A new continuous running platformer is heading our way on January 25th, 2013 called Komodo Crunchtime: Ultimate Superstars. Developed by Rie Studios, this new platformer was built using the Unity3D engine so the visuals are actually pretty solid for this game. The visuals are bit more of a cartoon style like something you would find on the Wii.

Two games have successfully achieved their funding goals over on Kickstarter with both games coming to OUYA while one of the games is also slated for an Android release and the other game will arrive on Android devices should it reach one of their stretch goals. Interestingly enough, both games also have almost the same amount of time remaining in their campaigns on Kickstarter.
Tupsu- The Furry Little Monster is a game we mentioned in our most recent Under the Radar series and is currently up for vote in the newest Game of the Week poll going on right now. Tupsu is, you guessed it, a furry little monster but instead of arms, he has very handy tentacles. Wait, can I call them handy if the tentacles only have eyes at the ends? Anyway he uses these tentacles to pull him along through different environments.
Welcome to the third installment of our Under The Radar column where we showcase a few good games that we may not have been able to publish as full articles on our website. Ultimately, with this, smaller developers get vital exposure for their games and you get to have more games to play on your plate. If you know of more quality games released recently that have not got the attention they deserve, let us know by leaving a comment below!
Well, we did mention that now developers or people with a fair amount of money to blow would be receiving their OUYA development kits over the past week and that videos would start appearing more and more, we now have a good look at the graphics and performance of OUYA running Android games simply installed using their .apk files without any porting having been done.
In terms of hybrid games that mesh together two or more different game genres into one title, Growtopia has to be one of the more stranger hybrid games when you initially think about it. The developers describe Growtopia as an experimental multiplayer sandbox platformer with crafting which just sounds really confusing at first.
There is no guarantee that this will arrive on Android or anything like that but the developers of the popular Xbox Live indie game called Fez have revealed that the game will be making its way to multiple other platforms this year. A post by Polytron, the developers of Fez, they announce that they are working on bringing the game to multiple new platforms and that it was rather dumb of them to only release on Xbox Live.
A portal inspired puzzle platformer called Nex has been in a beta stage of testing and development over the last little while but those beta tags have now officially been dropped and the full version of the game has launched onto Google Play. Featuring Portal-esque style 3D visuals and a first-person point of view, Nex is a unique looking game to sink your time into.
A rather neat indie puzzle platformer has arrived on Google Play from Colorcoder called Doggie Blues 3D. You’ll be playing as a blue dog who is on a quest to become a full-fledged sheep herding K9 instead of the sad little blue pooch he is right now. It is actually quite the impressive little indie game that platformer fans might want to check out.
Last week the developers behind the MOGA mobile gaming system, PowerA, happen to be basically giving away MOGA units for one day where all buyers had to pay was the shipping. Those units should hopefully be already arriving to people who managed to et in on the deal and now PowerA has released a list of some of the newly released games that happen to support the MOGA controller.
